"Booked for my daughter’s 11th birthday. She had enjoyed a summer camp session and so I was really pleased to find out that Alex offers parties too. Communication with Alex prior to the party was by email and I always had a very quick response. The sports hall venue is large and was set up with 3 silks and 2 trapeze for 6 girls. The 2 ladies looking after us were really lovely, brilliant at their skill and very helpful with the girls. I was very impressed with their ability to keep up momentum. You’d usually expect youngsters to start getting fidgety and bored of waiting their turn, and having to watch demonstrations, but they were all completely engrossed in the activity. It was strenuous, exciting, completely different to anything else on offer. They were treated maturely and allowed to do enough tricksy and challenging moves to keep them interested. There was a bit of an interval before trapeze when they did hula hoop challenges and stunning silk fan artistry. I thought they’d start moaning at the lull in tempo but actually I think it was a clever move to rest their hands and abs for a bit before the trapeze. Pizza and cake time and there were large tables provided with plenty of chairs. My girls love a margherita but take note you do have to adhere to vegetarian food policy at this venue - Singh Sabha Sports Centre. All in all, a top party. The girls loved it and at no point did I feel that safety was an issue. I’d love to see more of Leo’s Circus as a club!”
